Weekly Play
The season schedule will be from April to October. The exact
starting week will depend on our agreement with the Golf Commission.
All play will be eighteen (18) holes.
LEAGUE DAY PLAY
Selected days are designated as “reserved tee times” days. Sign-up
for these days will be available 30 days in advance of the day of play, on the website,
www.fairfieldseniorgolf.com using the
On Line Event Sign Up/Withdrawal.
Four days before the date of play:
- The tee time block on the FSGA website is CLOSED and not
available for sign up.
- The tee time block is submitted to the HSR Pro Shop and the
players are entered into the Town of Fairfield Tee Time Reservation
System. Open tee times are then made available by the Town of
Fairfield to the general public.
FULL TEE TIME BLOCK
In the event that the FSGA website tee time block is filled:
- If signing up between the 30-day posting date and the four-day
close out and submission to the Pro Shop, members should still sign
up as an "Alternate." In the event another member withdraws, if
between the 30-day posting time and the four-day submission to the
Pro Shop, the alternate will be automatically moved into the spot
vacated by the withdrawal, and the member will receive an email
verifying their tee time. Such tee time is not negotiable.
- If there are 3 or more "Alternates" eight-days before the day of
play, they will be entered in the next tee time after the last tee
time in the posted tee time block. If there are only one or two
alternates, they will not be given a tee time through the FSGA
website. In that event they should contact the Pro Shop directly and
inquire about getting a "public" tee time.
- If the member is trying to get a tee time between the four-day
submission to the HSR Pro Shop and the day of play THEY MUST CONTACT
THE PRO SHOP FOR A TEE TIME. Obtaining a tee time through the FSGA
website is NO LONGER POSSIBLE.
CANCELLATION OF TEE TIMES
Between the 30-day tee time posting on the FSGA website and the
four-day submission to the HSR Pro Shop , members MUST withdraw via the
On Line Event Sign Up/Withdrawal
process.
After the four-day submission of the
tee time block to the Pro Shop, players MUST
EMAIL - repeat EMAIL
- THE PRO SHOP THAT THEY HAVE TO CANCEL. Failure to do
so will result in charge of a "No Show" penalty per the Town of
Fairfield's no-show policy.
In the event of inclement weather play will be cancelled if the course is closed by course management. League play will be automatically canceled whenever electric carts are not allowed on the course.
In the event of cart-path restriction, league play will still be in
effect.
